Y1 Game India Guide: UPI Deposits, Withdrawals & Payment Records
Y1 is best understood as two separate systems on one screen: the game itself and the account wallet around it. Most support problems happen in the second system, so this guide focuses on registration details, UPI references, KYC and what to do when a payment status does not match your bank.

ACCOUNT SETUP
Make the profile usable for future verification
Register with a mobile number you control and can receive OTPs on. If the account asks for a legal name, enter it carefully rather than using a nickname you may later have to change during KYC.
Choose a password that is not reused on your email or banking apps. If the service offers device or login alerts, keep them enabled so a new sign-in is easier to notice.
UPI DEPOSITS
A debit and a wallet credit are separate records
When you approve a UPI collect request or scan a payment code, check the merchant or destination shown in the UPI app before entering the PIN. After payment, save the UTR until the Y1 wallet shows the matching credit.
If money leaves the bank but the wallet does not update, wait for the transaction to reach a final banking status and then contact support with the exact reference. Sending a second deposit can create two unresolved records instead of one.
KYC
Name matching can decide whether a payout needs review
If Y1 asks for Aadhaar or PAN verification, use the official in-account flow and keep the profile name consistent with the document. A withdrawal to another person’s UPI ID or bank account may create additional checks if the verified account is in your name.
Do not share full document images in public chat groups. A person who promises to “approve KYC manually” should never need your OTP or UPI PIN.
WITHDRAWAL
Record the request before you close the screen
- Confirm the payout destination and amount.
- Submit the withdrawal once and note its request ID.
- Keep the status screen or history entry until money arrives.
- If the app marks it completed without bank credit, ask support for the payment reference.
- If the request is rejected, read the stated reason before submitting a new one.
PENDING PAYOUTS
Do not manufacture urgency by resubmitting
A pending status can reflect review, processing or bank settlement. Cancelling a request and making a new one may restart the process. Use the history to see whether the status is moving and escalate the original reference when it has been delayed beyond the app’s own stated window.
For IMPS or bank transfers, the receiving bank may need a different reference from a UPI UTR. Ask support what identifier was generated by the payout route.
BONUS BALANCE
Know which rupees are actually yours to withdraw
Promotional credit can appear beside cash while still carrying turnover, game-eligibility or expiry rules. Open the balance breakdown before assuming the combined total is withdrawable. If a bonus is attached to your first deposit, read its conditions before the payment rather than after you try to withdraw.
A reward should not be the reason you exceed a planned deposit amount.
WALLET HYGIENE
Keep the account small enough to understand
A long list of rapid deposits and withdrawals is harder to reconcile when one transaction fails. If you use the app, keep a simple record of larger transactions and avoid leaving more money in the wallet than you need for the planned session.
When there is a dispute, one clean timeline with amount, time and reference is easier for support to investigate than many overlapping requests.
RESPONSIBLE USE
UPI convenience can hide how often you are paying
Because UPI takes only a few taps, it is easy to make several small deposits without noticing the daily total. Decide a spending cap before starting and check the bank history if you are unsure how much has already gone out.
If you begin using money set aside for rent, bills or debt repayment, stop rather than trying to recover losses inside the game.
SUPPORT PREPARATION
Describe one payment problem at a time
When contacting Y1 support, give the transaction type, amount, time and reference in one message. Mixing a deposit issue and a separate withdrawal issue in the same complaint can slow down the review because the two transactions may use different processors.
Keep screenshots focused on the relevant entry and hide unrelated balances or personal details.
Keep the bank record and wallet record connected
Every deposit or withdrawal is easier to resolve when the amount, time and reference can be matched on both sides. Do not replace that trail with repeated transactions.
